Job Description
As Accounting & Tax Specialist Northern Europe, you play a key role in supporting a modern, high-performing finance function across the region (Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Finland).
You contribute to ensuring financial compliance and integrity, while supporting standardization, efficiency and continuous improvement in accounting and tax processes. Working closely with local markets, global teams and external stakeholders, you will support how finance operates across Northern Europe.
You will be part of the transition towards a cluster-based operating model, contributing to a multi-country team and helping deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across all markets.
Your responsibilities
- Support accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting across Northern Europe markets
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support maintaining a strong and well-controlled financial environment
- Assist in tax compliance activities and regulatory reporting
- Support relationships with auditors, tax authorities and advisors
- Work closely with local finance teams, GBS, GTC and Group Control
- Review and support accounting operations across GL, AP and AR processes
- Contribute to standardization, automation and efficiency improvements
- Support the delivery of consistent and high-quality accounting & tax processes across markets (Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Finland)
Qualifications
You are a finance professional with a strong technical foundation, combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Relevant experience in Accounting, Tax and Financial Reporting
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, USGAAP and local GAAP
- Experience working in an international or shared services environment is a plus
