Job Description

We are seeking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our Greek team. This role will be part of the dynamic Southern European Regional IT, reporting directly to the SE IT Lead. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic liaison between our IT department and business units, ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage local applications, including lifecycle, contracts, and performance.
  • Ensure IT solutions meet the needs of management, process owners, users, and central directives.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and contract compliance.
  • Identify business challenges and recommend technology solutions to support our strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Global Centers of Excellence to evaluate emerging technologies and develop business cases.
  • Manage the local IT project portfolio, ensuring successful delivery through effective project management.
  • Facilitate effective adoption of new tools and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for technology to improve business processes and drive innovation.
  • Familiar with IT Operations (Data Analytics, Automation, AI)
  • Plan and track local IT costs and manage initiatives to reduce costs.
  • Understand business processes and translate needs into IT solutions.
  • Share best practices and promote scalable solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive and up-to-date with technology trends and best practices in the FMCG market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in management within technology/application operations.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and project management within a dynamic, preferably multinational environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and translate business needs into IT solutions, including scoping business cases.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enhance them.
  • Experience in managing external vendor relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
